With the explosion of Artificial Intelligence into every aspect of our lives, as well as the professionalization of cyber crime and the fast-paced evolution of technology, the world of ransomware is changing.
But what does that mean and how will it impact small- and medium-sized companies both right now and in the future? Plus, what does this mean for identity security?
As always, we’ll have an interactive Q&A session during the session, so remember to come armed with your most pressing questions.

Tom Van de Wiele
Cyber Security Authority, Speaker, Ethical Hacker and Security Advisor, Hacker Minded
Tom is security authority, speaker, ethical hacker and security advisor. With over 23+ years of authentic, international consultancy experience in cyber security, his career has taken him from hacking power plants and ATMs, uncovering international industrial espionage rings, remotely taking over ships and mainframes, and training companies, law enforcement and journalists on how hacker techniques work - and how to defend against them.
Tom is on a mission to help create and develop cyber security culture within organisations that goes beyond compliance and technical solutionism, but through a better understanding of cyber security. As founder of the company Hacker Minded and drawing from his background as an ethical hacker for hire specializing in the intrusion and protection of high security environments, he focuses on making companies think differently about their approach to cyber security through talks and as a cyber security instructor and advisor.
Stephen Robinson
Host, Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst, WithSecure
Stephen has a degree in Cybernetics and Virtual Systems and 20 years of experience working in IT, 10 of which have focused specifically on computer security and threat intelligence.
As such, he has a depth of experience on both how to do security, as well as how not to do it. After spending a long time being directly responsible for securing systems, it is a very different - but equally interesting - challenge to ensure that other people have the information they need to act and react effectively in the current information security landscape.
