Luminen™ GenAI capabilities will initially be available for free for all users of relevant products on the WithSecure™ Elements Cloud platform. WithSecure is committed to democratizing cybersecurity expertise for IT and cybersecurity teams of all sizes and experience levels. Therefore, WithSecure will strive to keep as many Luminen™ capabilities as possible free of charge for all users, to the extent allowed by the computation costs of large language models (LLMs).

The initial version of Luminen’s™ powered summary reports (Security Awareness Assistant) is limited to the most recent events that took place within the last 7 days, and new summary reports can only be generated periodically. However, the existing summary report remains accessible at all times. This approach allows Luminen™ to deliver this initial Generative AI features while conserving computational power and energy.

The Investigation Assistant (Broad Context Detection™ analyzer) does not have this limitation.

Project Blackfin™ was introduced in 2017 to research applications of machine intelligence in the cyber security domain, including collective intelligence such as swarm intelligence and multi-agent reinforcement learning. Project Blackfin™ won the Artificial Intelligence Excellence Award in 2021.
