FAQs

After purchasing, you’ll receive an activation email. Click the link in the email and log in with your WithSecure Business Account. If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder or contact your administrator.

If you don’t receive your activation email for Elements Security Center, check your spam or junk folder first. Make sure your email address is correct and that your administrator or partner contact has sent the activation link. If you're using Microsoft 365, check your quarantine folder at https://security.microsoft.com. If the email still doesn’t arrive, contact WithSecure support for help.

Release notes are available in the WithSecure Community.

If you see this error, first make sure you're using the correct login URL: https://elements.withsecure.com. If you’ve forgotten your password, click “Forgot password?” on the login page to request a reset. If the reset email doesn’t arrive, try using a private/incognito browser window, check your spam or quarantine folders, and ensure your network allows traffic to *.withsecure.com. The reset email will come from no-reply@withsecure.com. In some cases, proxy or firewall settings may block access—make sure your network isn’t preventing connections to WithSecure domains.

This error usually appears when trying to access the portal using an outdated URL. To resolve it, make sure you’re using the correct login address: https://elements.withsecure.com. Using older or bookmarked links may trigger the error, so always use the updated URL to ensure successful login.

This error typically occurs due to browser or network issues. First, try refreshing the page using Ctrl + F5 to reload it completely, including the cache. If that doesn’t help, switch to a different browser, clear your browser cache, or use Chrome/Edge in Incognito/InPrivate mode with extensions disabled. You can also try logging in from another device or network, as proxy or firewall settings may block access. If the issue persists, wait an hour and try again—it may be a temporary portal-side problem. If it still doesn’t work, consider submitting a support request.

This error typically occurs due to a mismatch in multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings for users created after enabling Single Sign-On (SSO) federation. Although SSO includes MFA, the portal may still expect a separate MFA setup, causing access issues.

To fix this, go to Management > Vulnerability Settings > Security Settings and disable the Force two-factor authentication setting. This allows access without compromising security, as MFA remains active via SSO.

If that doesn’t work, an administrator can temporarily disable SSO federation under Management > Organization settings > Security administrators > SSO Federation. The user can then enable portal-level MFA manually. Once done, SSO federation can be re-enabled, restoring access to Elements Security Center.

Navigate to Downloads in the portal. Choose the correct installer for Windows, macOS, or mobile devices. Use the provided subscription key during installation.
